Krishna General Store

We are over on Jawahar Nagar Road, right near Balaji Refrigeration. Krishna General Store is just a small local shop in the Jawahar Nagar Colony part of Varanasi. Most of our days are spent behind the counter, talking to neighbors and keeping things tidy. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main ghats, which we like. We carry the usual things people need for their homes. Nothing too specialized, just the basics. The shop is a bit of a gathering point for some of the older folks in the colony who like to chat while they shop. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just us running the place day in and day out. We try to remember what people like so we can have it ready for them. Sometimes the deliveries are late or things get a bit disorganized, but we sort it out. That’s just how a small business works. We’ve been in this part of Varanasi for a long time. It feels like home. The street outside can get a bit narrow with parked scooters, but people manage. We just keep the lights on and the shelves filled. It’s a simple way to make a living and we appreciate the people who come by. We see the seasons change from this storefront and wouldn't have it any other way. It's a good life here.
