Varanasi is a place full of art and history, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is up on the first floor of the building. We handle exports, mostly dealing with local art and crafts that this city is famous for all over. The area of Lallapura is always crowded and the streets are very narrow. It takes some time to get around, but it is a good place to be if you are into traditional work. We spend our days coordinating with different artisans and making sure everything is packed correctly for the shipping containers. The office is a bit cramped with boxes and piles of paperwork, but we manage to stay organized. It is a bit of a maze to find the right door when you first arrive. We do not have any big corporate signs or bright lights out front. People just know where we are through word of mouth and local connections. It is a busy life here in Badshahbagh, with people coming in and out all the time. We just keep moving the goods and making sure the export side of things stays on track. It is a lot of manual work, but it keeps us on our toes.
