Our office is in Varanasi, over in the Kakarmatta area at 249 Shah Musa Colony. Varanasi is a very old and busy city, so being in a colony like Shah Musa gives us a little bit of breathing room. The building is a regular house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s got a very local feel to it, and sometimes you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows. We work mostly on our computers, dealing with all the stuff for Indiamart Com. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with a glass front, just a solid brick building where we spend our eight or nine hours a day. There are a few of us here, and we’ve all been working together for a bit, so we have a good rhythm. The rooms are a bit small and we have to be careful not to trip over each other's chairs, but it works. We have a small kitchen area where we boil water for coffee and eat our tiffins. Kakarmatta is a decent area with everything we need close by. We don't really do anything fancy here, just stay on top of the emails and the phone calls.
