Dainik Jagran

We are located at 28 13 Mig in Kabir Nagar, which is in the Durgakund area of Varanasi. Being in a city like Varanasi means there is always something happening right outside our door. The office is a simple one, nothing too flashy. We’ve got the 221005 pin code and we’ve been here in U P for a long time. Dainik Jagran has a small team at this branch. We mostly focus on what’s going on locally. The building is a bit tucked away, so if you aren't looking for it, you might miss us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few old computers, and stacks of newspapers from previous weeks. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. It gets pretty hot in the summer, and the fans overhead do their best to keep us cool. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the neighborhood to find out what’s new. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re in a big city high-rise. We're just local people doing a job in Kabir Nagar. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the tea runs out, but we make it work. It’s just how life is here in Durgakund.
