Fashion Gallery

Fashion Gallery is a small shop near the Union Bank of India in Gupta Bhawan. We are on Masri Shar Road in the Janghai area of Varanasi. It is a lively street with a lot of shops and people passing by all the time. Our place is not like those big fashion stores you see in the city malls. We have a smaller space filled with racks of clothes and stacks of different fabrics. We have been here for a good amount of time and many of the locals know us by name. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full speed. Sometimes we have a bit of a chat with the people who come in, even if they are not buying anything that day. It is just part of being in a place like Janghai. We do not have any corporate policies or fancy uniforms. It is just us in our regular clothes. We spend our time trying to keep the shelves tidy, but it is hard when people are looking through everything. My family helps out with the business. We do not do any advertising on the internet or in newspapers. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We just try to have a good variety of things for the people who live nearby. It is a simple shop and we like being part of the community here in Varanasi.
