Eyes Academy

If you are walking down Durgakund Road in Varanasi, you will see our sign near the Dharamsangh Complex. Eyes Academy has been set up here for some time now. It’s just a regular building where we hold our sessions. We don't have a big reception area or anything flashy like that. Most days, it is just students coming in and out, carrying their bags and looking for their classrooms. Durgakund is a busy area, so there is always noise outside, but once you get inside the building, it settles down a bit. We focused on setting this up because we wanted a place in this part of town where people could actually learn something useful. The rooms are basic, and we spend most of our time just going through the lessons and making sure everyone understands the material. It can get a bit hot in the summer months, but we do what we can with the coolers. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living in Varanasi, but we manage to keep things moving. It isn't a massive institution with hundreds of staff members. It's just a few of us who know the subjects and try to explain them to whoever shows up. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the local students get through their exams or learn a new skill without too much fuss. There is nothing complicated about how we do things here.
