Devknit Textiles Private Limited

If you know the Rajakatra area, you know how packed it gets. Our office for Devknit Textiles is tucked inside the M.P. Agarwal and Company building at CK-39/74/76. It is one of those spots in the old part of town where the lanes are narrow and there is always something happening. We have been working from this corner for a while, mostly focusing on the knitting side of things. It is not the kind of place with a big shiny sign out front. You just have to find the right door and come up. Inside, there is usually a lot of talk about yarn prices and delivery schedules. We share the space, so it gets quite cramped when everyone is there at once. We don't really have a fancy website or a marketing person telling us what to say. We just know how to handle textiles and that is what we do every day from morning until the market slows down in the evening. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away while we go through the books. It's practical work. Sometimes the tea man comes around, and that's the highlight of the afternoon. We've got a lot of old furniture and stacks of samples everywhere. It feels like home to us because we've spent so many years in this Chowk neighborhood. It’s a busy life, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get on with the business.
