Chandra Towers (P) Ltd.

Our office is in Chandra Chambers on Club Road. It’s a solid building, and we’ve been in this specific spot, S- 2/238-A, for a long time. It’s more of a corporate-sounding name, but we’re just a small group of people working here. The office has those high ceilings that make every sound echo a bit. We have these heavy wooden desks that have been around longer than most of the staff. It’s a lot of administrative work, keeping track of everything and making sure the logistics are moving. We aren't really a retail shop where you just walk in to browse. It’s mostly meetings and planning. The tea lady comes around at eleven and four, and that’s the highlight of the day for most of us. We have a lot of filing cabinets that are overflowing with old records. We really should digitize them, but nobody has the time. Outside on Club Road, it’s a bit more peaceful than the main markets, which is nice. We have a few plants in the corner, but we forget to water them sometimes. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs and then go home to our families. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a doorman. You just come up the stairs and find us. The light bulbs in the hallway are a bit dim, but we can see well enough to get by. Most of our chairs have wheels that squeak when you move.
