You can find us in Varanasi, specifically in the Nagwa area near Lanka. We’re located right near Tulsi Vidya Niketan at N-1/64-23. It’s a lively part of the city, and there’s always people moving around the school nearby. Chandra Shakun Constructions Llp is our small operation. We do a lot of local building work, mostly small residential projects and some repairs. The office is old-fashioned, with heavy wooden desks and a lot of physical files. We don’t really use the internet for much other than basic emails. Most of our business comes from people walking in or hearing about us from a neighbor. Varanasi is a place where word of mouth still matters more than any advertisement. We spend our mornings talking to the laborers and making sure the materials arrived at the site. The afternoons are usually for the paperwork that never seems to end. It gets quite hot here, so the ceiling fan in the office is always on high speed. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, so we know the local regulations and the way things work around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India; we just want to build things that last for the families in this neighborhood. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the bells start ringing at the temples.
