Our place is located at 112 Kazipur Ghosipur. We handle absorbent cotton, which is a pretty specific kind of work if you think about it. The process involves a lot of cleaning and making sure the cotton is actually absorbent enough for what people use it for. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes with all the lint flying around. We try to keep the machines running smooth, but they are old and need a lot of constant attention. Kazipur is where we’ve set up shop, and it’s a practical location for us. We aren't doing anything flashy. Most days are spent checking the quality of the raw cotton that comes in. If the batch isn't good, it messes up the whole day. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty. Sometimes the heat in the facility gets to be a bit much in the summer months. We just open the doors and keep going. Getting orders out on time is the main thing we worry about. There’s always a pile of bales waiting to be processed. We just take it one day at a time here. It’s a steady business and we’ve been at it for a while now. Nothing fancy, just cotton and hard work. We usually stop for a break when the sun is at its highest point. It's just a regular local operation for the neighborhood.
