Banaras Art Culture

Being located in the Assi area, specifically at B-2/114 in Bhadani, means we are right in the middle of everything that happens in Banaras. Our place, Banaras Art Culture, isn't some high-end gallery with glass walls. It is more of a workspace where we keep the things we make and sell. The streets here are narrow and always full of people, cows, and bikes, so getting supplies in can be a real challenge on most days. We mostly deal with traditional items that reflect the history of this old city. There is usually someone sitting on the floor working on a piece or cleaning up after a long day of work. It is quite loud outside because of the pilgrims and tourists headed down to the ghats, but inside we just try to get the daily tasks done. We have lived in this neighborhood for generations, so we know pretty much everyone around here. Sometimes we just sit out front and talk to the neighbors while we wait for a delivery to show up. It is not always perfectly organized, and things can get a bit messy when we are really busy, but that is just how a real workshop is. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. If people like what we have, they tell their friends and family. It is simple. We just want to keep the local traditions going without making too much of a fuss.
