Arvind Stores

Arvind Stores is located on Jalpa Devi Road in the Visheshwarganj area of Varanasi. We are right there near Kabir Chaura, which is a place many people pass through every day. It’s a general store, so we stock the usual things people need for their homes. You will find soap, lentils, flour, and small snacks on our shelves. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of items in a small space, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our customers are neighbors who have lived in Machodari for years. They come in for a single pack of biscuits or to fill their monthly grocery list. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us working the counter and helping people find what they need. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road outside, which can be a bit of a headache for the traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of Varanasi. We open up early and stay late until the last few people finish their shopping. It’s a simple business. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with the basics that families around here use every day. If you need something specific and we don't have it, we usually try to get it in the next delivery. It's just a regular shop for regular people.
