Art Age

Out here at Harirampur on Aurai Road, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Art Age is located right in this area, and our mailing address is P.O. Box No. 80. It’s a place where you can actually hear the birds sometimes, though the trucks on Aurai Road can be quite loud when they pass by. Our workshop is a bit of a mix of things. We have tools scattered around and projects at different stages of being finished. It’s not a sterile environment. There’s dust and the smell of materials in the air, which is how it should be in a place like this. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing budget. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we do. We aren't big on titles or fancy business cards. If you walk in, you’ll probably find us with our sleeves rolled up, actually doing the work ourselves. The building is older, and it has some quirks, like a door that sticks and windows that rattle when the wind picks up. We don't mind. It’s a comfortable place for us to spend our time. We don't have a regular routine like a bank might. Some days we stay late to finish something, and other days it’s quieter. It’s just a small business trying to do honest work out on Aurai Road.
