Akarshan Men

Akarshan Men is based in Sabhapati Bhawan, which is in the Naria area of Varanasi. It is a very local spot and we have been serving the people around here for some time now. The shop is on the ground level, so it is easy to just walk in from the street. We have the standard setup with the mirrors and the chairs that most parlors have. Varanasi is a busy city, and Naria can get quite crowded with traffic and people walking by. Inside, we try to keep things simple. We do haircuts, head massages, and shaves. We have a small TV in the corner, but it's usually turned off unless there is a big match on. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they do the job for now. We have some shelves where we keep the talcum powder and the hair oils. Our customers are mostly regulars who have been coming to us since they were younger. We know how they like their hair cut, so we don't have to ask many questions. It is a quiet kind of work, just focusing on the person in the chair. We clean up at the end of every day and get ready for the next one. It’s just an honest way to earn a living in this part of the city. We don't do anything flashy, just the work that needs doing.
