Agr Garments & Hosiery Private Limited is based out of Varanasi, specifically in Maharanapratap Colony, Gurubagh. The address is D 53/97 A 13 A. Being in Varanasi, we are surrounded by a lot of history and traditional work, but we focus on garments and hosiery. Our place is tucked away in the colony. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don't know the roads well. We have been working in this area for a good bit now. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even though we are a private limited company. We deal with a lot of cotton goods and hosiery items. The shop or unit we have is usually packed with stock. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because there are so many bundles of clothes everywhere. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to our customers and suppliers directly. The humidity in Varanasi can be tough on the fabric so we have to be careful how we store things. Varanasi summers are really something else. We have to keep the fans going full blast just to stay sane while we are folding the hosiery. It’s a lot of physical work, moving those heavy sacks around. We don't have a computerized inventory system or anything, just a big notebook where we write everything down. It works for us. We know our stock. Just a normal day's work for us here in Gurubagh.
