Pushpa Marble & Stone

Working out of the G.I.D.C. Industrial Area in Bhadakmora is always a bit hectic. Our place, Pushpa Marble & Stone, is tucked into the Busy Bee Complex at Plot No. C-37. It’s right on the Silvassa Main Road, so there’s a lot of trucks and dust all the time. Being opposite the Hanuman Temple is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Usually, you can hear the bells from the temple while we’re out back moving stone slabs. It’s an industrial vibe here. We don’t have a fancy front office. It’s mostly just rows of marble and various stones stacked up wherever there’s space. Every day is about loading and unloading. We get a lot of workers and contractors coming through because of the location. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the middle of the day, making the stone hot to touch. We handle everything ourselves, from showing the different types of granite to making sure the measurements are right for the customers. It’s a lot of physical labor, and things can get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in. But we manage. People in Silvassa know where we are. We just focus on getting the stone out to the sites. It’s a busy life in a busy complex, but it keeps us going. We’re just local people doing a local job without making a big deal of it.
