Machine Surgeon

We are located at shop number two in the C-7 block, which is right near Meena Hospital. If you are driving through Gunjan G.I.D.C., you will probably see our sign. It’s a practical workspace where we fix all kinds of mechanical stuff that breaks down. Usually, the floor is covered in a bit of oil or grease because that is the nature of the work. We have a lot of tools hanging on the walls and spread out on the benches. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. People bring us machines that aren't running right, and we take them apart to see what's wrong inside. Sometimes it takes a day, other times we have to wait for a part to come in. We don't do much fancy talking here. We just look at the problem and try to get it sorted so the machine can go back to work. Being near the hospital makes it easy for folks to give directions. The shop gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s a small team here. We’ve been in this part of G.I.D.C. for a good bit now. Most of our day is spent with our hands dirty, looking at gears or motors. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local industrial area. If the gate is open, we are usually inside working on something.
