Ashwini Polymers

Located at Plot No. 784/1 in the 40 Shed Area of GIDC Vapi. This place is basically an industrial hub. Ashwini Polymers has been here for years, operating out of one of these standard sheds you see all over Vapi. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. Our main thing is working with polymers, which means we spend a lot of time around machines and bags of raw material. It is a noisy environment, but we are used to it by now. The shed is functional and nothing more. We don't have a big showroom or a nice lobby for visitors. Usually, if you come by, you’ll find us in our work clothes, probably moving some stock around or checking the settings on the equipment. Life in GIDC is all about production cycles and meeting the next load. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless it’s for orders. Most of the guys here live nearby and have been with us for a long time. We know the machines better than we know anything else. Sometimes things break down and we fix them ourselves. It’s just how we do things here. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. We just focus on the polymer work and making sure the batches are done. It’s hard work, but it keeps the lights on and the business moving along. We usually have lunch together in the small area out back.
