Bhagwati Engineering Co.

Being located at Plot No. 321-9 in the 40 Shed Area means there is always something going on around us. Vapi is a busy town, and this part of the Gidc is no different. We are right near the M. M. Lab, so people use that as a landmark when they are trying to find Bhagwati Engineering Co. for the first time. The sheds here are all lined up, and ours is just one of many, but we have our own way of organizing things inside. It can get pretty loud with the engineering work, especially in the middle of the day when everyone is at full speed. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some big fans that move the hot air around while we work on the machines. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, but that is just part of the job. We have a small corner for keeping our logs and some old chairs for when we take a break. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so they don't need much instruction. We just show up, see what is on the list for the day, and start on it. It is a bit cramped sometimes when a lot of material arrives at once, but we manage. The 40 Shed Area has a specific smell of grease and metal that stays with you even after you go home.
