Bajrang Import & Export

Our place is at S19 in the Stop & Go Complex on Daman Road. We are located in Chala, which is right near the Dabhel Check Post. Because we are so close to the check post, there are always long lines of trucks and a lot of noise from the horns. It is a very busy spot for anyone doing import and export. We have a small office in the complex where we handle the documents for the goods coming in and going out. It is a lot of back and forth with the drivers and the agents. Sometimes we have to go down to the check post to clear up a bit of confusion with the paperwork. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs, a few desks, and a lot of files piled up. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the door open to get a bit of a breeze, even with the truck fumes. We've been here for a while and we know the local tea stall guy pretty well. We don't do anything fancy here. We just make sure the boxes are accounted for and the taxes are paid. It is a practical business and we are just regular people working hard to make ends meet. Most of our time is spent checking lists and talking on the phone to suppliers. It is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing when things finally clear.
