Adit Impex

Our office at Adit Impex is located at Plot No. 12/P/2. We are right opposite the V.I.A. Cricket Ground here in Lower Parel. It is actually quite nice when there is a match going on, as we can hear the crowd sometimes. Lower Parel is a busy area for business, and we fit right in with the other warehouses and offices around here. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have a main room where most of the work happens and a smaller area for keeping samples. We deal with imports and exports, so there is always a lot of talk about containers, ports, and customs. It is not the most glamorous work, but it is what we know. We have a big whiteboard where we track current shipments, and it is usually covered in scribbles and dates. The traffic in this part of town can be a nightmare, so we all try to arrive early and leave before it gets too bad. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the manifests. The building is functional—it keeps the rain out and gives us enough space for our computers and files. We are not really interested in having a flashy office. We just need a place that works for the business. There is a small tea shop around the corner that we visit every day. It is a good spot to take a break from the screens for a few minutes.
