Alok Industries Ltd.

Alok Industries Ltd. has its office over in Village Balitha in the Valsad district. It’s a bit different being out in a village area compared to the big city industrial zones. Things move at a slightly different pace here, though the work is still plenty busy every single day. We are located in units 261 to 268. It’s a large operation, but we try to keep things grounded and simple. A lot of the people who work here come from the surrounding villages. You’ll see people arriving on bicycles or scooters every morning before the sun gets too high. We deal with a lot of fabric and industrial materials, so there is always movement in the warehouse areas. The offices are practical, nothing fancy, just a place to keep the records straight. We spend a lot of time making sure the production lines are moving. If something breaks down, we have to get it fixed quick, otherwise, everything stops and people are left waiting. We eat our lunch together in the shaded areas when it's hot out. It’s a decent community we’ve built here over the years. We aren't interested in making things sound better than they are. It’s a factory environment, it’s noisy, and it’s a lot of hard work. But it provides for a lot of families in the Balitha area. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without much fuss or bother.
