Sk Bricks

We are located right near the Postal Highway in Lilapur. It’s a convenient spot for the transport trucks coming through Valsad, and that's why we stay here. Sk Bricks has been operating on this site for several seasons now. The site is mostly open space where we dry the bricks before they go into the kiln. It gets very windy being near the highway, which helps with the drying process sometimes, though it blows the dust around too. We don't have any professional writers to do this, so I'm just saying it like it is. We make bricks. That is the whole job. We source the clay nearby, mix it, and set the molds. It’s a messy process, and our clothes are always stained, but that’s just part of the daily routine. The neighbors know us by the smoke from the stacks. We don't promise anything crazy or talk about being the leaders in the industry. We just provide bricks to whoever shows up at the gate. Usually, it's local builders or people fixing up their own homes in the village. We handle the orders as they come. If the weather stays clear, we stay on schedule. If it rains, we wait for it to pass. That’s the reality of running a brickyard in Lilapur. We keep things straightforward and don't make a fuss about the details. We just do the work and close the gate when we're finished for the day.
