Asian Paints Industries Coating Ltd.

We operate out of Plot No. 1914 and 1916 within the GIDC area. It’s a massive industrial zone, and our site is pretty much what you’d expect from a place that handles coatings and industrial paints. There’s always a faint smell of chemicals and solvents in the air, which we’ve all gotten used to by now. We spend most of the shift monitoring the mixing tanks and checking the batches. The floor is often stained with different colors from over the years. It’s a busy environment with a lot of movement—forklifts moving pallets and drums being loaded onto trucks. We don't spend much time in the small office on-site because there's always something to check on the production line. The GIDC roads can be a bit rough, but the location is good for getting our supplies in and our products out. Our team is made up of local workers who know the machines inside and out. We don’t really do any big sales pitches; we just make sure the coating is mixed right and packed up securely. It gets pretty loud when all the equipment is running at once, but that’s just how it is. We’ve been at these plots for quite a while and have seen many neighbors come and go. It’s hard, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just focus on the paint and getting the orders shipped out on time.
