Jadav Group

We operate out of Shiv Villa, which is right near the Getco Station in the Chowkifalia area of Sutharpada. This is in the Kaprada taluka of Valsad, way out in Gujarat. It’s a family-run kind of thing at Jadav Group. The office is basically part of the house, so you’ll often hear the sounds of the kitchen or the kids playing while we’re trying to work on the books. It’s not a formal environment at all. We might be sitting in the veranda discussing business while someone brings out a tray of tea. Being near the substation means we have a good landmark, otherwise, people might miss the turn-off for Sutharpada. We do a bit of everything here, depending on what the local demand is. It’s a rural spot, so we have to be flexible. We don't have a big staff or a fancy boardroom. It’s just us and a few local guys who help out when things get busy. The roads around Valsad are nice, but once you get into the interior where we are, it’s a lot more peaceful and slower. We don't have a grand vision or a five-year plan written down. We just take the work as it comes and try to stay honest with everyone we deal with. If you come by, you’re more likely to find us in the yard or talking to a neighbor than behind a computer screen. It is just how we have always done things in this part of Gujarat.
