Arun Engineering Works

Arun Engineering Works is located over at Vasantdada Industrial Estate, right on the 100Ft Road in Chitannagar. We’ve been set up here for a while now, mostly dealing with the usual machine work and repairs that come through the door. It’s a busy spot because of the road, so there’s always something going on. The shop isn't fancy or anything, just a place with the right tools where we get the jobs done. Usually, it's just local people or nearby shops that drop things off. We handle metal parts, fixing bits that broke, and sometimes making something specific when someone needs it for their own setup. Most days involve a lot of grease and noise, but that’s just how engineering shops are. If you walk past on 100Ft Road, you'll probably hear the machines running. We don't have a big office or a reception area with coffee; you just come in and talk to whoever is free at the bench. Sometimes things take a bit longer if we're waiting on materials, but we try to be clear about that. It's just a straightforward operation here in Chitannagar. We know the machines well, and we’ve seen all sorts of problems over the years. Some jobs are quick, others keep us late, but we just keep at it. People know where to find us if they have a part that needs turning or a frame that needs a bit of work.
