Killa Pardi is a bit different from the huge cities where you usually find offices like ours. We’re tucked away on Bania Street, and the best way to find us is to look for Gayatri Jewellers. We are right opposite them. Being part of Info Edge and the Naukri network in a place like this means we see a lot of local faces from all over the Valsad district. The street is usually dusty and there’s always something going on outside, maybe a cow passing by or some kids playing. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have our desks set up and we spend the day helping people navigate the job site. A lot of folks come in because they aren't sure how to use the internet for their job search, so we spend a lot of time explaining things. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical space where we get things done. We deal with the heat by keeping the fans on high, and we always have a bottle of water on the desk. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, so we just wait it out and chat. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have any big speeches or fancy posters on the wall. We just focus on the people who walk through the door and try to help them out with their resumes or their searches.
