Henrysons Machines & Services

Henrysons Machines & Services is tucked away in the 100 Shed Area of the Vapi G.I.D.C. estate. Our plot is C1/83, right down the lane from the Bank of Baroda. It’s a busy industrial spot, and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. We mostly deal with fixing up machinery and providing parts when something goes wrong at another plant. The shop is filled with tools and old manuals that we've collected over the years. It's a bit greasy and loud, but that’s how a machine shop should be. There are only a few of us working here. We don't have any formal titles; we all just jump in and do what's needed. If a machine breaks down somewhere, one of us usually has to go out and take a look at it. Vapi is a big hub, so there’s never a shortage of work to do. We aren't much for fancy talk or business meetings. We’d rather be working with our hands. The shed gets hot in the afternoon, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we know most of the other shop owners on the lane. It's a tight-knit place and we just do our part every single day to stay busy.
