Ruk-Mani Engineers Fabricators is situated at Plot No. 1001-6 and 7 in Phase-3 of the Gidc area in Vapi. This is a big industrial zone, and we occupy a decent-sized spot here. Fabrication work is noisy and messy by nature. There’s always the sound of welding, cutting metal, and grinders going off. If you come to visit, you’ll definitely need to watch where you step because there are often metal scraps and tools on the floor. We aren't a fancy engineering firm with a glass front. We’re a workshop where things get built with hammers and torches. The heat in Vapi can be pretty intense, especially in the middle of the day with the machines running, but the team here is used to it. We handle a lot of different fabrication jobs, from small parts to bigger frames. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. The person who answers the phone is probably the same person who was just holding a welding mask. We focus on the blueprints and making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes we run behind when a machine breaks down or a material shipment is late, but that’s just life in a Gidc plot. We’ve been in Phase-3 for a while and have seen many shops come and go. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and try to keep the shop running as best as we can every single day.
