Our place is located at Plot No. 24 in Phase-1 of the Gidc in Vapi. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly factories and chemical units all lined up together. The air always has a bit of a specific smell to it around here, and you get used to wearing sturdy boots and gear every day. We’ve got a lot of drums and containers sitting in the yard, waiting to be moved or filled. The office is just a small part of the building, mostly used for keeping the logs and checking the orders. It gets pretty humid in Vapi, so the fans are always spinning. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure everything in the production line is running like it should. There’s a lot of routine involved in what we do. The trucks come in through the main gate of Phase-1, and we have to make sure there’s enough room for them to turn around. It’s a practical environment. No one wears suits here; it’s all work clothes and practical shoes. We’ve been at this plot for years, and we know most of the guys working in the units nearby. We just focus on the batches we’re running and making sure the inventory is right.
