Concept Computers

You can find us at 111 in the Govinda Complex, right by the GIDC Char Rasta in Vapi. It’s a busy intersection, so there's always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Our shop is usually packed with towers, laptops, and various computer parts scattered on the workbenches. We spend most of our time with screwdrivers in hand, taking things apart to see what’s wrong. There is a specific smell of electronics and sometimes a bit of solder in the air. People bring in their computers when they stop working or when they need something new added. We have shelves filled with old keyboards, power cables, and random screws that we might need later. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we have our own system. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because the parts are hard to find, and we have to explain that to the customer over the counter. The lighting is bright so we can see the tiny components on the motherboards. We’ve been here in Vapi for a good bit now, and we see a lot of the same faces from the nearby businesses coming in for help. We just sit at the back, working through the pile of repairs while the radio plays quietly in the background. It’s basic, honest work, fixing one machine at a time and making sure things are plugged in right.
