Gadhia Solar Energy Systems is located at Unit No. 86 in the Old GIDC area of Gundlav. If you know anything about GIDC, you know it’s a place of factories, heat, and a lot of hard work. Our unit is just one of many in the row. We focus on solar energy systems, which means our yard is often full of metal frames, glass panels, and various parts waiting to be put together. It gets very hot here in the afternoons, but that’s the nature of being in an industrial zone. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s a working unit with concrete floors and the smell of metal and welding in the air. Most of the staff are usually in their work clothes, moving stuff around or checking the inventory. We have a small office space carved out in one corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a bit noisy with the sounds of the neighboring units, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been part of the Gundlav landscape for quite some time now. Dealing with solar stuff keeps us busy, especially when the weather is clear. We just focus on getting the units ready and out the door. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where the work is more important than how the office looks to outsiders. Most days we just hope for clear skies and a steady breeze to keep the dust down. It's tough work but it's ours.
