Ever-Shine

Ever-Shine is located at Plot No. C-1/B 922 in the G.I.D.C. Gundlav area. If you’ve ever been to this part of the industrial estate, you know it’s a lot of long roads and metal sheds. We are one of those sheds. The name sounds a bit bright, but mostly we are just working with metal and cleaning parts. It’s loud because of the ventilation fans and the machines that we run all day long. We wear heavy boots because the floor can get slippery with water and oil. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in old clothes that we don't mind getting stained. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot on the tin roof. By mid-afternoon, the heat inside is pretty intense, so we drink a lot of water and take quick breaks in the shade of the loading dock. We have a lot of racks where parts sit to dry before they get packed into crates. It is repetitive work, and your hands get rough after a while, but it feels good to see a finished batch ready to go out the door. We don't have a fancy office, just a small cabin with a desk and a couple of chairs for when the inspectors come by.
