Ekta Interiors

Our workshop is located in the GIDC area, specifically at C1/702/6. We are in one of those 40-shed units that make up the backbone of the industrial estate. It is right across from Nusar Aluminium, which is a good way to find us if you’re lost among all the similar-looking buildings. At Ekta Interiors, there is usually a lot of noise from saws and the smell of wood and glue in the air. We aren't sitting in a quiet, air-conditioned office most of the time. We are usually out on the floor or visiting sites to see how the fittings are going. The shed gets quite hot in the middle of the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. Our tools are well-used and the floor is often covered in sawdust by the end of the day. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. Most people who come here are looking for practical help with their interior spaces. We just talk through what they need and get to work on the pieces. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of business. The workers here have been doing this for years, and they know their way around the materials. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on finishing the jobs we have on our plate. That’s just the way it goes in GIDC.
