Our place is in the GIDC area, specifically at 'L' Type Shed No. 322/7/16 near Degam Road. If you know the industrial estate, it's not too hard to find, though sometimes the truck drivers get a bit turned around. It’s an industrial shed, so it’s noisy and smells like metal and grease most of the time. We’ve been operating out of this shed for some years now. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work for what we need to do. Every morning we open up the big shutters and get the machines warmed up. There’s always someone running around with a clipboard or a wrench. We do a lot of industrial work here, the kind of stuff that isn't very pretty but is definitely necessary. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the building besides the lathes. It’s a bit dusty, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a working shop. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the shop floor and find one of us. We prefer it that way. No fuss, just work. Sometimes we stay late when a big order is due, and the whole street is quiet except for us. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s just how things go here. No point in overcomplicating it.
