Our place is out in Nahuli, specifically on Patel Street. It’s near Bhilad in the Umargaon area of Valsad. Being away from the massive cities gives us a different perspective on things. The office is right there in the village atmosphere, which we actually prefer. We deal with architectural work every day, mostly sitting around a large wooden table. It’s a simple setup. We have the usual computers and printers, but a lot of the best ideas still come from a pencil and a piece of scrap paper. Life in this part of Gujarat is steady. We know our neighbors and they know us. We don't put on airs or try to act like we're in a high-rise in Mumbai. We just do the work that comes our way. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We handle the local needs and some stuff from further away too. It’s honest work and we like being in Nahuli. There’s no need for fancy brochures when you can just talk to people face-to-face. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the plans we have in front of us.
