There is not a lot of space for extra things, so we keep it mostly to our laptops and a few chairs. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. Working in a chawl means you are never really alone; there is always someone passing by the door. We have lived and worked in this part of Ghatkopar for a long time, so we are used to the noise and the close quarters. It is an honest way to work, right in the heart of the community. We don’t have a big corporate sign, just the room number and our names. People know us by word of mouth. It is a bit messy with cables and notebooks everywhere, but we get the tech work done regardless of the small space.
