We are located over in Village Khabra, specifically the part they call Kiratpur Gurdas. It’s in Mushari Block. The place is run out of Arti’s house. We decided to go the organic route because that’s what people are asking for lately, but it’s a lot of extra work. You can’t just throw chemicals and walk away. You have to really watch the plants. The village is small, and everyone knows what everyone else is doing. It’s a quiet life for the most part. Our office is just a corner of the house with a desk and some chairs. Sometimes the goats from the neighbor's yard wander too close to the door. We don't mind. It feels real. We spend our mornings checking on the crops and the afternoons doing the boring stuff like filing and talking to suppliers. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Things take time to grow. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We rely on the fact that we live here and people trust us. Mushari is good land if you treat it right. We’re just a few people trying to do things a bit differently, without all the heavy stuff that usually goes into farming. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. Sometimes we wonder if it's worth the hassle, but then you see the healthy plants.
