Manegaon is where everything happens for us. We are based out of house number 210, which belongs to Pawar Yogiraj Shankarrao. It’s a regular house in the village, not some glass building. Running Manegaon Agro Farmer Producer Company from here means the work and home life kind of blend together. You’ll often find us sitting on the porch talking to farmers from Vaijapur about their crops. We started this because the local guys needed a way to work together. It’s mostly just family and friends helping out with the paperwork and the lifting. The roads around here can be rough when it rains, so getting things moved takes a bit of planning. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the land. Most of our days are spent checking on the fields or organizing the next batch of produce. It’s honest work, even if it gets messy sometimes. We don’t use any of those big business words because they don’t mean much when you’re standing in a field. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to send emails, but that’s just life in a Tq like Vaijapur. We just try to keep things moving for the farmers. It’s about making sure everyone gets a fair shake. We’ve been at this for a bit now and it feels right. We sit under the big tree out front when the office gets too hot in the middle of the afternoon. It's a slow way of doing business but it works for our community.
