J P Collection

You can find J P Collection at Shop No. 21 in the Shreeji Villa building. We are out on Waghodia Road, quite close to the D Mart, so there is always a lot of foot traffic. It’s a small shop but we pack a lot into it. Most of my day is spent just folding things back up after people have looked through them. It’s funny how a pile of shirts can get messy in two minutes flat. We don't have a huge team, just me and occasionally someone to help out when it gets really busy on the weekends. Being near a big place like D Mart helps because people wander over after doing their grocery shopping. The light in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps show the colors properly I suppose. Waghodia Road is always humming with scooters and cars, so it’s never really quiet inside. We have some regulars who come in every few months to see what’s new. I like talking to them and hearing about their families. It makes the day go by faster than just sitting behind the counter. We don't do any big sales or anything complicated. We just put the prices on the tags and let people browse. It’s a simple retail life and it keeps me busy. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it’s too hot outside, but we just leave the door open then and hope for a breeze.
