We set up Vsd Vadodara Spnf Producer Company Limited right here in Savli, not too far from the Dudh Dairy. It's mostly just us local folks trying to get things organized for the farms in this part of Vadodara. Starting this wasn't easy because there's always so much paperwork, but we managed to get the office going at L S No 119. A lot of people around here have been doing things the old way for a long time, so we're just working together to see how we can handle our crops better. It’s a group effort. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, and other times the market is a bit slow, but we stay busy. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we meet up and figure out what needs doing next. Most of us grew up in these fields. We know the dirt and the rain here. Being near the dairy helps because everyone knows where that is. We spend our days checking on the produce and talking to the other farmers in the taluka. It’s hard work, and the days are long, especially when harvest time comes around. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make sure the work we do in Savli counts for something. There’s always someone dropping by to ask a question or drop off some notes. That’s just how it goes for us. We are just simple people trying to make a living from the land.
