Sri Ayyswa Exports Private Limited is located at the I T I Ancillary Industrial Estate, number 208, in the K S S I D C area of Vadodara. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by workshops and the constant hum of machinery from the neighboring units. It is a busy environment where trucks are constantly backing up to the loading docks and people are moving pallets around with hand jacks. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and packing materials because we are always getting things ready to be sent out. It gets pretty dusty inside despite how much we try to clean and the summers are really tough when the metal roof heats up. We spend most of our hours checking labels and making sure the counts on the shipping manifests actually match what is in the crates. It is repetitive work but it has to be done right or things get stuck at the port. We don't have much in the way of a fancy office area; it is mostly just a corner with a desk and a computer where we handle the export documents. The guys working here have been around for a long time and we all just know our roles. It is a practical, hardworking atmosphere where the main goal is just to finish the day's shipments on time so we can go home.
