If you head over to Akoto 405, that is where you will find us working away most days. It is a standard office space, nothing too flashy, just desks and computers and a lot of wires running along the floor. We spend a good chunk of our time staring at screens or talking about software stuff that probably sounds like a different language to anyone else. The air conditioner makes a bit of a humming sound that you eventually stop noticing after the first hour. Most of the guys here bring their lunch from home, so around one o'clock, the whole place smells like different types of curry and rice. We have a small area near the window where we keep the kettle for tea. It is usually pretty quiet, except for the sound of typing or when someone gets frustrated with a line of code. Getting to Akoto 405 isn't too bad, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you show up late in the morning. We don't really do big meetings or anything like that. We just sit in our chairs, do the work, and occasionally check the weather outside. It’s just a group of people trying to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet slows down and we all just kind of look at each other until it starts working again. That is just how life is in a tech office like this.
