Umiya General Store

We have been at Race Course Circle G/2 for quite a while now. It's just a small place, but we keep most of the things people need on a daily basis. My family helps run the shop and we are usually open early in the morning. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded around the circle, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home from work. We try to keep the shelves stocked with snacks, soap, and other basic household items. If someone asks for something we don't have, we usually try to get it for them by the next week. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. It’s mostly just a regular spot where neighbors stop by to grab milk or bread. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the lighting could probably be better, but it works for us. We know most of the people who live around here by their names. It's nice to see the same faces every day. We handle most things ourselves. Mostly it's just about making sure people get what they need without too much fuss. We don't really do much advertising, word of mouth has always been enough for us here. We keep the fridge running for cold drinks during the hot months, and that keeps us busy. We also have those little jars of candies near the counter for the kids. Sometimes the delivery trucks take up too much space out front, but we manage.
