Surgimed Equipments

Surgimed Equipments is located on Alembic Road in the Akshar Apartment building. It’s not a big storefront with glass windows. It is more of an office where we keep all the medical supplies. My desk is usually covered in papers and order forms. We have boxes of various things like thermometers, bandages, and sometimes bigger stuff like wheelchairs or oxygen stands stacked against the walls. It gets a bit crowded in here during the week when new stock arrives. Alembic Road is a very busy part of town so there is always a lot of noise coming in from the window. I spend most of my time on the phone talking to people who need supplies for their clinics or for home use. Sometimes people walk in looking for things because they live in Akshar Apartment or nearby. It’s just a couple of us working here. We don't have a fancy display area or anything like that. Most of the time I’m just checking the inventory or packing things up for delivery. The apartment building is older, so the elevator is a bit slow and can be temperamental. I’ve been doing this for a long time and I know where every single item is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It's a practical business and we just try to keep things moving. We don't really do any big advertising. People just find us or hear about us from others.
