J S Sports is located at No. 30 Pujer Complex in Subhanpura. We have a shop that’s packed with all sorts of things. There are cricket bats leaning against the walls and footballs stacked in nets. It’s a bit crowded, and sometimes you have to move one thing to get to another. We get a lot of kids coming in after school looking for new gear or just wanting to bounce a ball. The floor is a bit scuffed up from people trying out shoes. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Subhanpura is a good neighborhood for a sports shop. The Pujer Complex is easy to find, though the stairs can be a bit steep. We spend time re-stringing rackets or pumping up balls for customers. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical store where you can find what you need for a weekend game. We have a small TV that usually has a match on if there’s one playing. Sometimes we get people coming in just to talk about the latest scores. We keep a ledger for the regular customers who come by often. It’s a simple business. We sell the gear and hope people enjoy their game. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we know the stock well enough to find things in the dark.
