Shree Ranchhodray Spyran Private Limited

This place has been around for quite a while, starting with the Ranchhodray Masala Mill. We are located over in Vadodara, and the company is run under the care of Shri Motilal Ranchhod’s legacy. If you walk near our building, you’ll smell the spices long before you see the sign. It’s a very traditional setup. We grind masalas, and it’s a dusty, noisy, but satisfying job. The machines have been working hard for years, and we make sure to keep them maintained so the quality doesn't dip. We aren't some new-age startup with bean bags and laptops; we have heavy sacks of chillies, turmeric, and coriander everywhere. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure the blends are just right. People in Vadodara have known the Ranchhodray name for generations, and we try to keep that going without making a big fuss about it. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy packaging. The focus is always on what’s inside the bag. Our floor is often covered in a fine layer of red or yellow powder, depending on what we ground that morning. It’s just the nature of the spice business. We don't wear suits or have meetings in boardrooms. Most of our discussions happen right there on the production floor or over a quick cup of tea in the back. We know the machines better than we know our own cars. They’ve been with us through thick and thin. It’s a bit of a loud environment, so we’ve all learned to speak a little louder over the years. We’re just keeping a local tradition alive, one bag of masala at a time.
