Shree Maheshwari Medical & Provision

We are located in shop number one of the Jay Ranchod Building. It’s part of the Kala Darshan Society on Waghodia Road. Being near the Kaladarshan Char Rasta means there is always something going on outside. Shree Maheshwari Medical & Provision is a mix of a medical store and a provision shop. It keeps us very busy. One minute we are looking for a specific tablet and the next we are handing over household items. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside with all the different types of goods. We have been here on Waghodia Road for a good bit of time. The society people are our main customers. We know most of their names. It gets dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping things down. The shelves go all the way to the top. We have a ladder to reach the high stuff. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a few minutes while we unload. It’s a typical neighborhood shop. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us. We manage the accounts in a big book and try to keep everything in order. It’s hard work, especially in the heat. But it’s a good spot. People stop by on their scooters all day long. We just provide what the locals need without much fuss. We try to keep the shop organized, but it's tough with so much stock coming in and out.
