Our shop is over at Jay Ambe Appartment, specifically Shop No A-83. We are right on the main road in Subhanpura, which means things stay pretty lively from morning until night. We handle a bit of everything here, combining medical supplies with general provision items. It’s common to see someone come in for their blood pressure pills and then remember they also need a bag of sugar or some soap. Being on the main road makes it convenient for people heading home from work. We get to know the families around Subhanpura really well because they come in for their daily essentials. The shop can get a bit cramped when we get a fresh delivery of crates, but we manage to find a place for everything eventually. It’s a family-style environment, not a cold supermarket feel. We don't use any fancy scanners or high-tech systems; we just know where everything is and what it costs. The sounds of the traffic outside are basically the background music for our day. We’ve been here in Vadodara for years and have seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up. We just keep the doors open and try to have what people are looking for, whether it’s a specific medicine or just some household goods. It’s a busy life, but we like being right in the middle of the action on the main road. There is always someone coming in for a chat or a quick purchase before heading home.
