Ruhi Super Market

Ruhi Super Market is located at Shop No. 101 on the first floor of the Durga Site building in Manjalpur. Being on the first floor is a bit different because people have to consciously walk up the stairs to find us, but we have a good number of regulars. The space is filled with long rows of metal shelving that hold everything from cooking oil to cleaning supplies and biscuits. Manjalpur is a growing area, so there is always some construction or new activity going on around Durga Site. We keep the floor mopped, though it gets footprints pretty quickly during the monsoon season. The lighting inside is just standard tube lights that hum a little bit if you listen closely. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure we haven't run out of the basics like sugar or flour. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time, interspersed with the sound of the cash drawer opening and closing. Since we are in a commercial building, we see a lot of people who work in the nearby shops too. It isn't a massive warehouse, but for a neighborhood super market, we carry a decent variety. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and wait for the locals to come by for their weekly shopping. It is a straightforward business in a busy part of town.
